Adopt a Cat
Adopting from the RSPCA is one of the best and most
responsible ways to bring an animal into your home.
Adoption Process
Our Centre is open to Adopters by appointment. This is to keep the Cattery calm and peaceful for the cats.
If you wish to adopt a cat, please phone the Centre on 01424 752121 or email adoptions@rspca-sussexeastandhastings.org.uk
You can view the cats available for adoption below by clicking 'Meet our Cats'
We'll carry out a Home Check process. We'll do a Google Maps search, then we'll ask you to:
-
Complete an Adoption Application form
-
Email us photos of your home & garden. Alternatively, photos can be sent via WhatsApp to 07565 590763 (please state your full name in your message so we can tie in with your application)
If you struggle with sending photos or videos, we can either help with technology or make other arrangements, so don't worry.
We'll discuss the cat’s needs with you, as well as yours to help us ensure that you and your cat are an ideal match.
Once we have found a potential match, an appointment can be booked to come up to the Centre to meet your cat and chat with the staff about the Adoption.
If all goes well, a reserve will be put on your chosen cat and finally we will book a date for you to collect your new friend.
